About L.W. Perry:
L.W. Perry is a visionary female artist and the driving force behind the success ofInferno Dance & Production Company. Her extraordinary journey in the world of dancebegan with a life-altering decision made when she was just 4 years old.
A Choice That Shaped Her Destiny:
At the tender age of 4, L.W. Perry’s life took an unexpected turn when she was diagnosed with scoliosis, a condition that threatened to affect her mobility and quality of life. Faced with a difficult decision, her parents were presented with two stark options: to confine her to a back brace for the rest of her life or to explore an unconventional path—dance. They chose the latter, and this pivotal decision not only corrected her physical ailment but also ignited a lifelong passion and talent that would change the course of her life.
Dance as a Form of Communication:
For L.W. Perry, dance has always been more than an art form; it’s a profound means of communication, self-expression, and spiritual connection. Her journey has been marked by a relentless pursuit of excellence and a desire to break boundaries in the world of  dance.
A Spiritual Awakening:
In 2012, L.W. Perry’s life took a transformative turn when she embarked on a profound spiritual journey when giving her life to Christ. This awakening reshaped her perspective and gave her a higher purpose for her talents. She discovered that dance was not just a personal passion but also a powerful tool for sharing faith and stories through movement. At this juncture, she felt called to create Inferno Dance & Production Company.
Breaking Stigmas and Pushing Boundaries:
L.W. Perry is on a mission to break the stigma surrounding liturgical dance and push the boundaries of what people traditionally think of when it comes to this art form. She envisions a world where liturgical dance is bold, powerful, and transformative—a force that transcends stereotypes and preconceptions.
The First National and International Touring Liturgical Dance Company:
With over 30 years of experience in dance and 20 years dedicated to production, L.W. Perry aims to create the first youth(15-17) and adult(18 & Up) professional touring liturgical dance company. Her vision is to take this revolutionary art form on the road, sharing the beauty of creativity and spirituality with audiences across the nation and, one day, internationally. These productions will be bold, fiery, and life-changing, breathing new life into stories of creativity and spirituality.
Artistic Philosophy:
L.W. Perry believes that dance has the capacity to transcend boundaries, communicate emotions, and inspire change on a spiritual level. Her choreography often explores complex themes and narratives, leaving audiences captivated and moved. She is deeply committed to fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment within her company, allowing dancers to flourish and explore their faith while developing their artistic talents.
Achievements and Recognition:
L.W. Perry’s dedication to her craft, her unwavering commitment to her spiritual journey, and her extensive experience in both dance and production have earned her numerous awards and accolades, including the prestigious NAACP Act-SO Award. Her work has been featured in prominent publications like the Montgomery Journal, and she has graced the stages of New York as a solo artist, captivating audiences with her artistry and spiritual expression.
Education and Training:
L.W. Perry’s dedication to her craft led her to study under esteemed dance companies, including the Washington Ballet Company, Metropolitan Ballet Company, and Montgomery College, where she received instruction from Bonnie Slawson, the owner of Commotion Dance Studio in Germantown. These experiences have enriched her artistic perspective and deepened her mastery of dance.
Choreographer for The Bride of David Dance Ministries:
L.W. Perry also serves as a choreographer for The Bride of David Dance Ministries under the leadership of Pastor Thelma Wade. Her contributions to this ministry have added a profound dimension to their worship and storytelling through dance.

About Madison Willette Assistant Director

Madison Wallette is a seasoned professional with 21 years of experience in dance. Her journey as a dancer, choreographer, and teacher has been remarkable. Her unique style, a fusion of Hip-Hop and Contemporary with a sprinkle of sass, has set her apart in the dance community. But Madison is not just about dance; she’s also about faith, spirituality, and using movement to connect with God.

A Choice to Dance

Madison’s love for dance ignited at a tender age. She was only four years old when she began choreographing and freestyle dancing in her living room and the neighborhood parking lot. However, her true dance odyssey began in middle school when she attended Loiederman Middle School for the Performing Arts. She honed her skills across various dance styles and realized her passion here.

High school and Montgomery College were the next steps in her educational journey, further solidifying her expertise in dance. But life had other plans for Madison.

Life Has A Funny Way of Changing Your Path and Confidence

At 15, Madison’s life took an unexpected turn when she was diagnosed with Vitiligo. This skin discoloration disorder led to questions about the blotches of lost skin color, especially around her eyes. Initially, she felt offended and concealed it with sunglasses due to the unwanted attention. However, her grandmother, who also had Vitiligo, became her guiding light.

Madison’s grandmother taught her not to be ashamed of this condition but to embrace it as a unique gift from God. She encouraged Madison to use her art form, dance, to change people’s perceptions of Vitiligo. Embracing her grandmother’s wisdom, Madison embarked on a journey of self-discovery.

Embracing The Beauty That God Created

Madison’s skin continues to change, and each transformation surprises her. Yet, she has learned to appreciate the beauty and uniqueness of her skin, considering it a divine gift. Instead of being offended, she now embraces the inner beauty that defines a person.

Madison Wallette’s story is one of resilience, faith, and the power of dance to connect with the divine. Her journey from a young girl dancing in her living room to an accomplished dancer and choreographer is about the steps, embracing one’s true self, and sharing the beauty that God created within us all.

Accomplishments

Madison’s dedication and talent have not gone unnoticed. She has received several awards, including:
• Excellence in Dance and Performance Award: Presented by Montgomery College in 2018.
• VAPA Award (Visual and Performing Arts for Dance): Recognizing her outstanding contributions to the performing arts.
• Coaches Award: An acknowledgment of her role as a POMS Coach.
• Arts Legacy Award for Dance: Celebrating her lasting impact on the world of dance.

Education and Training

Madison’s journey in dance and performing arts includes:
• Loiederman Middle School for the Performing Arts, Where she cultivated her passion for dance.
• High School: Continuing her dance education, honing her skills.
• Montgomery College: Culminating her academic journey with a degree in dance.
