The following items must be submitted with your audition form:
Application Requirements:

Audition Requirement

1. Attach a 5×7 headshot. ( Does not have to be professional)
2. Attach a 5×7 full-length dance shot in any of the following dance styles:
● Jazz
● Hip-hop
● Broadway
● Contemporary/Modern
● Liturgical
3. Tell us about yourself. Include the following:
● Hobbies and activities you enjoy.
● What you do for fun outside of dance.
● What is most meaningful and important to you.
Inferno’s Core Belief At Inferno Dance Company, under the guidance of our founder, L.W. Perry, we believe in the transformative power of dance. We understand that dance is not just a physical expression but also a spiritual journey. We firmly believe that dance can help the dancer explore their faith and establish a more personal relationship with their spirituality, bringing them closer to God and our Savior Jesus. We aim to create an environment that nurtures this connection between dance and faith, encouraging dancers to express their beliefs and experience divine inspiration through their movement.
4. Please submit a 500-750 word essay addressing the following:
● When you hear the phrase “become the dance itself,” what does it mean to you? Explain your answer in detail, describing how you interpret this concept and how it resonates with your personal dance journey.
● How has dance impacted your life?
● Do you have a spiritual relationship with God? If so, explain the importance He has in your life.
● Give an example of a situation that caused conflict in your dance journey. How were you able to resolve the situation or overcome it? What steps did you take?
● How do you think Inferno Dance Co. can help you achieve your goals and aspirations as a dancer and bring you closer in your relationship with God?
5. Please include written references from two individuals who know you personally and/or professionally (if applicable). If you are currently in school, you may provide a reference from a teacher or guidance counselor must have correct contact information otherwise application will be voided or incomplete. By submitting this form, I acknowledge that I have read and understood the information provided above about Inferno Dance Company’s core foundation and the belief that dance can help the dancer explore their faith and establish a more personal relationship to bring them closer to God.

Please Note when coming to Auditions bring the Audition Packet with you.
There is also a one time Registration fee of $15 due day of Auditions.
Auditions will be held in three-time slots:
10:00 am to 12:00 pm Liturgical Dancers ( Only) If that is the only style you wish
to do.
12:00 pm to 2:00 Youth Company Dancer Auditions (15-17)First round
Break 2:00-2:30
3:00 pm to 5:00 pm (18-up) Adult Company Auditions
5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Youth (second round for the youths that were chosen) and
Adults together
