At Inferno Dance Company, we believe in giving back to our community in a different manner. Our goal is to ensure that the transformative power of dance is accessible to all. Our commitment to community service is at the core of our mission, and we’re proud to offer scholarships that open doors to the world of dance.
We believe that financial barriers should never hinder someone’s passion for dance. That’s why we offer two scholarships for families in need. These scholarships allow talented individuals to join our dance programs and embark on their artistic and spiritual journey with us. Dance can potentially change lives, and these scholarships are our way of making that change possible.
At Inferno Dance Company, we’re all about spreading the love for dance far and wide. Our community outreach programs are where the magic happens. We team up with local organizations, schools, and community groups, all to share the sheer joy of dance with absolutely everyone. These programs aim to light up that creative spark, get you moving, and bring joy to people from all walks of life
The Lance and Sharon Washington Scholarship for the Performing Arts is dedicated to families that are in hardship with inner-city children who have a dream of being in the arts. Growing up in the DMV area Lance and Sharon Washington wanted their children to experience things that they were not able to. After their daughter was diagnosed with Scoliosis, they put her into dance. They understood how hard it was to pay for and even though they struggled, they made sure that she got what she needed to help her.Read More

Auditions will be held on November 11th Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Results for Company dancers will be at the end of the day. If there is not enough time to give the results, they shall receive a phone call from either the Artistic Director or the Assistant Director within the next day between the hours of 12-4 p.m. Sunday, November 12th,2023

10:00 am to 12:00 pm Liturgical Dancers ( Only)
12:00 pm to 2:00 Youth Company Dancer Auditions (15-17)First round
Break (Lunch for staff) 2:00-2:30
3:00 pm to 5:00 pm (18-up) Adult Company Auditions
5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Youth
(second round for the youths that were chosen) and Adults together
Please arrive 20 minutes early so that all paperwork can be gathered
along with the one-time registration fee $15.00.
